IS FLYING BY AIRCRAFT CHARTER SAFE?

We pride ourselves on being the safest air charter provider in Australia. We are regularly audited by the Civil Aviation Authority, government departments and mining industry specialists and go far beyond what is considered the minimum safe standard. Why not organise a hangar tour to see our facilities and safety procedures up close.

CAN I CONNECT WITH MY AIRLINE FLIGHT?

The BAS operations team can ensure your charter flight schedule will give you time to clear security and check in with your airline flight.

HOW MUCH BAGGAGE CAN I BRING?

You can bring as much as you want!! The benefit of chartering your own aircraft is that your only restricted by the payload of that aircraft. To find out the payload available on your choice of aircraft simply ask our operations team.

DO YOU ONLY HAVE AIRCRAFT IN BROOME?

THE WEATHER LOOKS REALLY BAD TODAY, CAN WE STILL FLY?

BAS pilots are trained to the highest level in interpreting weather information which they obtain directly from Australia's Bureau of Meteorology. In the event that it is too dangerous to travel by air, BAS staff will assist you in organising alternative travel arrangements.

CAN ALL YOUR AIRCRAFT FLY AT NIGHT AND IN CLOUD?

Only BAS's twin engined aircraft are permitted by Australian aviation law to fly with passengers at night and through cloud. This is known as flying under the Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). BAS flys all our twin engine aircraft under the IFR at all times ensuring you are being tracked by air traffic control throughout the flight.
